Hi I am Dr Bhavna K Pandya, a Consultant Nephrologist and Physician at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2005. I am also an elected medical and dental staff Governor and deputy lead Governor for the trust. I am passionate about supporting patients in their care by engaging and involving them. Since the setup of Aintree kidney patients Association I have regularly organised educational, social and entertainment events. After the merger of Aintree and Royal renal Units the charity with charity commission’s support the charity now has become Liverpool Kidney Patients Association. I have worked very closely with the patients to re-establish the charity.

Hello my name is Maharsh. My LKPA journey started over 10 years ago through volunteering for World Kidney Day events with the Aintree Hospital Nephrology Department alongside the Aintree Kidney Patients Association. I have since spent the past decade working with the charity in various roles, better understanding the challenges faced by people with kidney disease and their relatives. Since becoming chair, it has been a pleasure to work with this diverse, motivated and welcoming team.
